Our resident Lady Gaga tribute artist, Gaga Gorgeous, had a busy holiday season performing for Southlake Hospital, Honda, TD Business Banking, and more. We are so proud of our little Gaga- she sings live (absolutely NO lip-synching here), wears wild costumes (customizable to your event!) and always gets the crowd going with her undeniable energy and stage presence. Electric Blonde partied it up this season with so many live performances ranging from performing for 1500 people at a McDonald’s conference, to a small intimate Acoustic performance at Latino’s in Guelph, to dancing the night away with the German Chamber of Commerce. The most important thing about any special event is that guests have an amazing time and Electric Blonde’s only goal is to ensure just that!! We are a Toronto based live band who aim to play current and classic music that keeps people on the dance floor, belting out hits, letting loose, and maybe even grabbing a slow dance with that special someone. Our repertoire is packed with top 40 radio hits, classic rock, 90′s rock, R&B, Funk and Country. Fronted by singer Lynzie Kent, the band members are all pros with a knack for having fun on stage, looking stylish and most importantly, connecting with the crowd.

Just like a meal needs seasoning, an amazing event needs flavour. Always tasteful, never tasteless, the Seasonettes are the sugar and spice of any event. Fronted and Styled by Lynzie Kent of Electric Blonde Entertainment and Events, the talented ladies perform classic and current dance favourites from the Supremes and Thelma Houston, to Adele, Duffy and so many more. The Seasonettes are all professional vocalists and trained music theatre performers who bring excitement, retro style and of course, sequins, to any wedding, corporate or special event. On December 8 and 9th, EBE’s Lynzie Kent was again fortunate to work with Airborne 11, the $10,000 grand prize winning team from Canada Sings. The boys played the Ronald McDonald House Gala at the Carlu in Toronto, performing for some of the city’s most elite audience members. On Dec 9th, the performed for their very own at the Air Canada Recreation Association Christmas party. It warms our hearts as we continue to see how these men have touched the hearts of others. A large portion of their fee is always donated back to Ronald McDonald House here in Toronto and simply by singing and dancing, they are making a huge difference in the lives of sick and recovering children. I feel as though they are making a difference in their own lives too as the joy is evident on their faces when they are performing.

We’re very excited today as our wedding inspiration shoot titled “Owl Love You Forever” is being featured on Wedding Chicks blog. We’re so very proud of everyone who was involved: Roots Floral and Event Design, Beet&Path, Elizabeth in Love, Sarah Smith MUA, Kathleen Sou Hair Artist, Stylist Alysha Greco, and Sarah Houston Wedding Gowns.

We are dying to show you the photos from our “Owl Love You Forever” Inspiration shoot, but the time isn’t right yet. So until then, here are some behind the scenes looks at what goes into the shoot… eating ice cream, a tired blonde, help from many hands, and serious detail inspection. So looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the work. Oh- and all these lovely photos are from Christine Picheca, one of the photographers on the shoot.

Our resident Lady Gaga specialist (yes that’s what her official title is) dressed up in the spirit of Halloween and performed for an incredibly lively crowd of 950 people at Southlake Hospital’s annual gala fundraiser at Le Jardin in Woodbridge, ON. Performing Gaga’s biggest hits, Gaga Gorgeous entertained the crowd with two wild outfits, hair worn in Gaga’s signature styles and gaga-esque moves.

Electric Blonde Entertainment had the opportunity to work with Airborne 11, Air Canada’s winning Glee club on Canada Sings. The boys were asked to perform at Air Canada’s chairty event, Dreams take flight, on October 20th at the Hilton Garden Inn in Vaughan, ON. But the guys needed costumes?! And that’s where we stepped in, EBE’s Lynzie Kent and Alysha Greco styled the guys to perfection, aiming for a retro chic, top gun inspired look- complete with aviators!

The coolest thing about Airbourne 11 is that the guys do this for charity! It all started out on Canada Sings where they won $10,000 for Ronald McDonald House, and since then they have been getting booked to perform all over the city. The guys don’t make a dime- they use their booking fee to continue to support Ronald McDonald House and just have a fantastic time performing! Here are some photos from the October 20th performance, and below is their infamous Canada Sings performance!

Here is a little sneak peek of the place cards designed by Kendall Kent from Beat & Path Designs. She designed the invitation suite and all the paper goods for Electric Blonde’s upcoming owl themed inspiration shoot. We’ll be working with some amazing vendors like Elizabeth Kaye Photography, Roots Floral and Event Design and The Caketress. Stay tuned!
